Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa, Pulford

The hotel rooms were great, with a super comfy bed and a luxurious feel like any 5-star hotel. However, the room setup was a bit awkward with two beds pushed together. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The location was good, but there were some minor issues like overpriced drinks. The dining experience at the Grosvenor was exceptional. The facilities offered were top-notch.

The hotel had lovely sized rooms for our family with a picturesque view of the ornamental garden, but they felt hollow and uncomfortably cold. The service was superb with a great range of facilities, although there were some issues with evening meals not being available as promised. The location was excellent for reaching Chester center, yet some areas looked dated. The dining experience offered a good array of choices, but some dishes were disappointing. Overall, a pleasant stay with a few drawbacks.

The hotel had a mix of surprises, from a lovely singer performing Frank Sinatra to inconveniences like non-working TV and lamps in the room. The service was pleasant for our wedding event, even though the staff didn't seem overly thrilled. The location offered comfortable seating, though a lack of loungers due to a wedding party was a downside. The dining experience in the beautiful surroundings of the palm restaurant was enjoyable. The facilities were good, but the place could do with a makeover.
